Lethemba Overview
Lethemba Care Projects is a community-rooted, registered non-profit organization based in Louwville, Vredenburg, West Coast, Western Cape, South Africa with a mission to support, care for, and empower vulnerable individuals across the Saldanha Bay Municipal area. The organization runs a Nutritional Soup Kitchen as a core initiative—serving warm, balanced meals weekly to children, the elderly, the disabled, and other marginalised groups.
Beyond nourishment, the soup kitchen acts as a community development hub, connecting beneficiaries with other vital services, such as basic computer training, psychosocial support, youth leadership programs, and restorative interventions targeting gender-based violence and substance abuse.
Through our partnerships, the organization is continuing exceeding its outreach targets, but also built trust, strengthened partnerships, and uplifted the community in tangible ways.
